Chateau Manor is a 20-unit Independent Living senior’s home that strives to provide a quality living experience in a community setting that offers all the comforts of home. Our caring staff provide 3 full daily meals and weekly housekeeping, allowing our residents the opportunity to enjoy a secure yet independent lifestyle. With an on-site resident manager, we are available 24/7 to ensure the health and safety of our residents and the peace of mind of their families.

Meet the Owners

Bruce and Irene Montgomery

Bruce and Irene Montgomery are the sole owners of Chateau Manor. Together with the help of their three children and their caring staff, they have created a friendly, community living environment where they focus on providing quality care to their residents.

They have lived in the Kootenays since 1991 where they enjoyed everything our wonderful community has to offer while raising their three children. Now, that family consists of two daughter in-laws, a son in-law and 4 beautiful granddaughters with the hopes of more grandchildren in the future.

Meet the Manager

Christena Montgomery

Christena is the youngest of the three Montgomery children and has the most active role in the daily operations of Chateau Manor.

She is married and has two young daughters of her own and is very family-focused. You can frequently see Christena busy at work with the help of her girls bringing life to the hallways of Chateau Manor. Christena strives to ensure that all residents of Chateau Manor experience that sense of family while residing here. She ensures all staff know that this is the resident’s home first and secondly, our workplace.
